KEATON, CHARLEEN
Charleen Keaton, 62, of Martha, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 28,2006 at King`s daughters Medical Center at Ashland, Kentucky. She was born October 2, 1943 in Morgan County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charlie Elbert and Gretta Gilliam. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband Herman Jay Keaton ; two sons, Dale Keaton and Doug Keaton, both of Martha, Kentucky ; two daughters, Donna Hall of Elkfork, Kentucky and Delena Alley of Morehead, Kentucky ; seven grandchildren, Ashley Keaton, Bradley Ball, Wesley Ball, Hanna Alley, Halee Alley, Jon Keaton, Macee Ball; two brothers, Ivan Gilliam of Crockett, Kentucky , Larry Gilliam of West Liberty, Kentucky ; three sisters, Iness Keaton of Martha, Kentucky , Carol Gilliam of West Liberty and Kathy Fraley of Sandy Hook, Kentucky ; and a host of friends and loved ones who will sadly miss her. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Burial in the Keaton-Vanover-Kelly Cemetery at Martha, Kentucky.

KEETON, DONNIE E.
Donnie Eugene Keeton, 52, husband of Linda Belcher Keeton, died Thursday, January 19,2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born in West Liberty, Kentucky he was a son of the late Eldon Keeton and Virginia Elliott Keeton Collins. Donnie was a graduate of Ashland Community College. He was a retired manager for Sherwin Williams Paint Store in Pikeville where he worked for 25 years. He was a member of Cowpen Freewill Baptist Church in Pikeville and attended Southland Christian Church in Lexington where he lived. Mr. Keeton was a member of the John W. Hall Masonic Lodge in Pikeville, Kentucky. Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Wes Keeton and wife Heather Roberts of Louisville and Jeff Keeton and wife Deanna Brockman of Lexington ; a brother, Ronnie Keeton of West Liberty, a special aunt, Bernice Allen , also of West Liberty ; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Richard Keeton and Phillip Ray Keeton. Funeral services were conducted at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial followed in the Keeton Cemetery in West Liberty.

KEETON, GABRIEL G.
Gabriel Gene Keeton, infant son of Randy Gene Keeton and Melissa Holbrook of West Liberty was stillborn, Monday, November 14, 2005 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. The baby was preceded in death by one uncle, Ora Holbrook, a cousin, Blaker Garris, and paternal great-grandfather, Ranson Ball. Survivors in addition to his parents are maternal grandparents, Lisa Barker Holbrook and Gregory Holbrook of West Liberty ; maternal great-grandparents, John and Velma Barker, Elige and Carolyn Holbrook of Ohio ; paternal great-grandmothers, Donnie and Mary Keeton of West Liberty ; and a host of aunts and uncles. Graveside services were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 17 at the Keeton Cemetery on Conley Branch, West Liberty with Elder Jackie Smith officiating. Burial followed with Herald and Stewart and Halsey Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements.

KEETON, JESSIE RAY
Jessie Ray Keeton, 67 , of Highway 460 East, West Liberty, died Saturday, September 24, 2005. Mr. Keeton was born April 25, 1937 in Morgan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Oral and Mattie Smith Keeton. He was a retired farmer and attended the Smith Creek Valley Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Keeton and Sheb Keeton. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Stamper Keeton ; two children, Teresa and Chris Garrison of Bowling Green and Jessie Gene Keeton and fiance`, Kayla Leeann Mitchell of West Liberty ; three grandchildren, Lacy Ray Trimble, Dremmitt Garrison and Tristan Garrison ; six brothers, Paul and Betty Keeton of Ezel, Dan and Marilyn Keeton, Coy and Pat Keeton , Arthur Keeton and Carl Keeton, all of West Liberty, Roy and Jean Keeton of Wrigley ; three sisters, Lucy and Ronnie Arthur of Waynesville, Ohio , Cathern and Wayne Ball and Ellen and Mike Stevens, both of West Liberty , and a host of nieces ans nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 27 at Herald and Stewart and Halsey Chapel with Elder Ira Smith and Elder Dallas Barker officiating. Burial followed in the Elijah Smith Cemetery at Mima , with Herald and Stewart and Halsey Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were family and friends.

KIDD, AUDIS SR.
Audis Kidd , Sr., 60 , of Lampasas, Texas , died on Monday, September 19, 2005 at the Temple Veterans Hospital in Temple, Texas. He had lived in Lampassas for the past six years, moving there from West Liberty , Kentucky. Born August 10, 1945 , at Honaker, Kentucky , Audis was a son of the late Mack Kidd and Vesta Hughes Kidd. He and Janice Cole were united in marriage on February 3, 1964 in Stockbridge, Michigan. Mr. Kidd served in the United States Army from 1962 - 1968 where he served one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was also a policeman in Manchester, Michigan , Fairfield, Ohio, and West Liberty, Kentucky, as well as a member of the DAV, and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Kidd was survived by his wife, Janice ; two sons, Audis Kidd Jr. of Lampassas, Texas and Darin Kidd of Copperas Cove, Texas ; two daughters, Denise Kidd and Deanna Kidd , both of Lampassas, Texas ; three brothers, John Kidd of Michigan, Mack Kidd Jr. and Otis Kidd of , both of Kentucky ; two sisters, Lillie Dean Preist of Ohio and Pricie Case of Michigan ; and 8 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kidd was preceded in death by one brother, George Kidd ; and four sisters , Goldie Williams, Vannie Mae Damron ,Nancy Kidd , and Cindy Williams. Funeral service with military honors was conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, at Briggs Gamel -Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. KIMELTON, KATHERINE TIPTON
Katherine Tipton Kimelton, 91, of Hwy. 205, Grassy Creek, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at her residence. Born Thursday, December 10, 1914 at Sellars, Kentucky , Katherine was a daughter of the late James and Minnie Amyx Tipton. She was a homemaker and member of the Salem Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Kimelton, March 8, 1997 ; also 4 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include three sons, William Scott “Bill” Kimelton and wife Shirley of Hwy. 205, Grassy Creek, James earl Kimelton and wife Roberta of Winterhaven,Florida, and Dwight T. Kimelton and wife Lynda of Mt. Vernon, Illinois ; 9 grandchildren ; several great-grandchildren ; and a nephew, Paul Long. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, at Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hinton officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery at Buskirk with Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements.
