TAULBEE, BARBARA
Barbara G. Taulbee , 68, of Wellington, died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead following a brief illness. Born September 21, 1937 at Ezel, Kentucky Barbara was a daughter of the late Jesse M. Taulbee and Thelma Hill Taulbee. She was a retired Armco Steel employee and member of Ezel Presbyterian Church, Ezel, Kentucky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Mullgrav. Survivors include a daughter, Pam and Karl Weldman of Monroe, Ohio ; one brother, Kenneth D. Taulbee of Wellington ; and two grandchildren, Jason Mulgrav and Nikki Mulgrav. Funeral services conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 2 at Herr-Riggs Funeral Home in Middletown,Ohio with Rev. Robert Clark officiating. Burial followed at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown,Ohio. Menifee Home For Funerals of Frenchburg was in charge of local arrangements.

THOMAS, VERGIE
Vergie Helton Gross Adkins Thomas, 91, a resident of Life Care Center in Morehead, formerly of West Liberty, died there Wednesday, November 23, 2005. Born Wednesday, May 13, 1914 at West Liberty, Kentucky Vergie was the daughter of the late Dennie and Maggie Blevins Helton. She was a retired receptionist for Morgan County Health Department and worked a number of years at Stamper`s Motel in West Liberty. She was a member of Wells Union Church on Wells Hill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Byron Gross, Willie Adkins, and Harold Thomas ; one son, James Edward Gross ; a daughter, Gaylena Litteral ; 4 grandsons ; 1 granddaughter ; 2 great-granddaughters ; one brother, Clyde Helton ; three sisters, Maude Williams, Bertie Cantrell, and Myrtle Jeanea. Survivors include four children, Goldie Collins and Charlotte Bolin, both of West Liberty , Linda Gardner and husband Jerry of Kissimmee, Florida, and Peggy Lykins and husband Jimmie of Moraine, Ohio ; a special nephew, Harold Clyde Williams and wife Meleea ; 7 grandchildren ; 14 great-grandchildren ; 4 great-great- grandchildren ; many nieces and nephews and several stepchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 26 at Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tharpe, Rev. Harry Helton, and Elder Jimmy Adkins officiating. Burial followed in the Elam Cemetery on Spaws Creek with Potter Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Pete Brandt, Harold Williams, Glenn Blanton, Barry Gross, Roger Gross, Loren Gross, Gary Cox, Gene Romans, and Timmy Gross.

THOMPSON, CHARLES G. JR.
Charles Grover Thompson Jr., 93 , formerly of Winchester, husband of Margaret K. Thompson, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Darby Square Nursing Home in Lexington. A natine of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Charles Grover Thompson Sr. and Edna Elizabeth Hopkins Thompson. He was a retired Baptist minister, a Kentucky Colonel, a graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Additional survivors include five daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret Elizabeth Cottle of West Liberty , Jean Chaney of Lexington, Susan and George Clay of Crossville, Tennessee, Deborak Szatkowski of Frankfort, and Brenda and Stephen Kendal of Lexington ; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Janice Thompson III of Fredricksburg, Virginia , R. Bruce and Harriett Thompson of Winchester, and George and Connie Thompson of Greenville ; 15 grandchildren, Beverly McElwain, Penny Carson, Lisa Epperson, David Thompson, Rebecca Hillmann, Katie Thompson, Angela Bowman, Steven Thompson, Melody Thompson, Marshall Thompson, Bradley Warfield, Stacey Wilson, Jason Nichols, Brian Nichols, and Margaret Sutherland ; 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 22 at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester with Jerry Bishop and Jeff Ryder officiating. Burial will be at a later date. TRUSTY, DAYTON
Dayton Trusty, son of the late Russell and Ruth Ann Mullins Trusty was born December 7, 1944 and departed this life Friday, December 2, 2005 at the age of 60 years, 11 months, and 25 days. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky, was of the Pentecostal faith, and was a carpenter. Survivors include six brothers, Arnold Trusty and Paul Trusty, both of Burkhart, Bill E. Trusty of Mize, Mac Trusty of Vancleve, Randy Trusty of Wilmington, Ohio, and Russell Wayne Trusty of Fairborn, Ohio ; two sisters, Wilma Trusty Taulbee of Campton and Rhonda Gail Trusty Humbert of Wilmington, Ohio. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Dalton Trusty and Mitchell Trusty. Funeral services were conducted Monday, December 5 at 1 p.m. at Porter and Son Funeral Directors Chapel with Harold Gene Taulbee , Larry Taulbee, and John Oldfield Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Miller Cemetery in Burkhart with Porter and Son Funeral Directors of Campton in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Donnie Trusty, Randy Trusty, Billy Joe Trusty, Greg Taulbee, Jason Tilett, Jared Hayes, Kenneth Pieratt, Danny Joe Gevedon, and Paul Timothy Trusty.
