W.S. MANNING SUCCOMBS
William Samuel Manning, 81, a retired farmer, died at 11:35 o'clock last night at the home of a daughter, Mrs H. E. Johnson, Twenty fifth street. Mr Manning had resided in Ashland for the past twenty five years.
The body was removed to the John Steen funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Surviving are three sons: J. E. Manning of Rialto, California; Walter Manning of Middletown, Ohio; and William Manning of Inkster, Michigan. 10 daughters: Mrs. Johnson; Mrs. Monroe Davis, Kenova, W. Va.; Mrs. Grant Elam, Flatwoods, Kentucky; Mrs. Floyd Nickell, Middletown; Mrs. Carelton Bellomy, Pasadena, California; Mrs. Emory Jones, New Richmond, Ohio; Mrs. J. P Grizzard, Louisville, KY.; Mrs. Charles Schmidt, Flint, Mich.; Mrs. W. G. McDonald, Detroit, Michigan; and Mrs. Rodney Elam, Dayton, Ohio; and 42 grandchildren.
