Russell Daugherty, 83, of Falmouth, Ky., passed away October 18, 1999 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. He was born in Pendleton County on August 10, 1916, a son of the late Charles C. and Jesse Delaney Daugherty. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Daugherty; brothers, Charles C. Daugherty and Marion "Doc" Daugherty; sisters, Golda Antrobus, Ruth Sheriff, Ella Redix and Susan Daugherty. He was a member of Gardnersville Christian Church. Survivors are his wife, Rosella Daugherty of Falmouth; sons, Doug Daugherty and Harry Daugherty, both of Falmouth, and Jeff Daugherty of DeMossville; daughters, Judy Postel of Lawrenceburg, Fonda Ester of Falmouth, and Pam Hopkins of Cynthiana; grandchildren, Chris Daugherty of Milwaukee, Wis., Brad Daugherty and Wendy Lusty, both of Falmouth, Bruce and Joseph Postel, both of Lawrenceburg, Craig Browning and Stephanie Golfman, both of Falmouth, Dale Browning of Grant County, Clint Hopkins of Lexington, Samantha Hopkins of Cynthiana, Tony Daugherty of South Carolina, Jenny Fisher of Covington, Jamie Daugherty of Grants Lick, Ashley Daugherty of Butler, and Jeffrey Russell Daugherty Jr. of Butler; great-grandchildren, Danielle Daugherty, Brand Lusty, Wade Browning, Jessica Golfman, Corey Golfman, all of Falmouth, Ashley Daugherty of Campbell County, and William Michael Postel of Cincinnati. Funeral services were held at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
