Cecil Brown, all raised in Rockcastle Co. Josiah was the son of Jotham W. Brown
b. about 1852 who was m. 11-5-1874 Rockcastle Co. KY to Lydia Ann Denney b.
1858, daughter of Denney and Amanda J. Hicks. Part of the family that owned the
Wilson-Denney farm in Rockcastle County KY.

Josiah Brown b. 6 June 1878, d. 9 Dec.
1946; Dora Sutton Brown b. 10 Sept. 1881, d. 3 March 1968 with grandsons
Joe Brown(son of Russell W. Brown and Emma Pearl Purcell Brown) and small child
is E.J. Taylor (son of Dessie Brown Taylor) old smokehouse in background. Both
Josiah and Dora Brown are buried in Fairview Cemetery in Rockcastle County, KY
