daughter of Josiah Joplin Bullock and Lou Verna Daniels Bullock. She was
married to John Franklin Bowles in 1903. They were the parents of six children,

Bullock Boys 1
William Christopher Bullock (b
1876), James Edward Bullock (b. 1880), and Robert Hayes Bullock (b. 1878). They
are sons of Josiah Joplin Bullock (1852-1933) and Lou Verna Daniels Bullock
(1858-1944). It appears this picture was taken about 1882, probably in
Rockcastle County.

I believe the one standing is
Robert Hayes Bullock (b. 1878). Sitting are James Edward Bullock (b. 1880) and
William Christopher Bullock (b. 1876). We believe the boys were in school in
Pulaski County when the picture was made.

Bullock wedding
Josiah Joplin Bullock 1852-1933
and Lou Verna Daniels Bullock 1858-1944. Both were born in Rockcastle County,
where they were married 1 Jul 1875. He had one child when they married and they
eight together. He died in Rockcastle County and she died in Anderson County,
at the home of her daughter Ola Lillard. Both are buried in the McKinney
Cemetery. This is a tintype. [The photo was named Bullockwedding, but I
dont think it actually is their wedding photo, as they seem to be a
little older than they were when they married.]

Tom Gentry and Mary Daniels
Mary E. Daniels was born 5 Apr
1863, a daughter of Jordan Daniels and Lucinda Childress. She was a sister of
Lou Verna Daniels who married Josiah Joplin Bullock. Mary married 14 Aug 1887
Thomas Gentry. This may be their wedding photo. I believe he was previously
married to her aunt and he was much older than Mary. After she was widowed, she
lived with her niece Rosa Bullock Bullock and her husband Dan Bullock. Mary
died in 1937. This is a tintype.
