Mrs. Della Mae Daugherty Allen age 92, of 95 Tevis St. Mt.Vernon died Wednesday September 15, 2004 at here home. She was born on February 5, 1912 in Grayhawk, Ky. the daughter of the late James and Nettie Simpson Morris. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening, and a member of the Mt.Vernon Pentecostal Holliness Church.

Survivors are: six sons; Willie, Enman, and Charles Daugherty all of Dayton, Ohio, Roy, and Tillman Daugherty both of Mt.Vernon, and Burgess Daugherty of Livingston. One daughter; Mrs. Edna Mae Allen of West Carrolton, Ohio. One half-brother; Hershel Jones of Cincinnati, Oh. Twenty-six grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by: her first husband; Joe Daugherty, and by her second husband; Lee Allen, by two brothers, two sisters, and by one infant son.
