Mr. Robert "Bobby" Allen, age 79 of Rt. 2 Livingston, died Wed. June 9 at his home. He was born in Garrard County on July 11, 1924 the son of John Thomas and Mary Daugherty Allen. He was a retired truck driver, was a member of the Morning View Holiness Church, and was a US Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a sister, Lillie Mae Robinson of Cartersville, KY; two grandchildren, Tammy Comstock of Oskaloosa, IA, and Joel Allen Griffith of Matlock, IA; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Griffith Allen; three brothers, Carman, Tommy, and Woodrow Allen; a sister, Roberta Bryant; and a half-sister, Kate Edgington.
