BISHOP, Fannie d.

Bishop, 95, of Lexington, died there Monday. Born April 23, 1903, in
Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late James and Polly Griffin
Arnold. She was the widow of George L. Bishop Jr. and a member of Hopewell
Baptist Church. Survivors include a son,
George O. Bishop of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Ruby Ingram of Lexington; a
brother, Bruner Arnold of Richmond, Ind.; four grandchildren; six step
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a step great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m.
Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Revs. Richard Easterly and Kenneth
Preston. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Memorials may go to Hopewell Cemetery Fund. |
