Mr. Michael Douglas "Mickey" Brown, age 54 of Brodhead, died Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the home of his mother. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on Nov. 30, 1949 the son of Pretsel and Bonnie Arney Brown. He was a truck driver, was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Providence Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Darlene Reynolds Brown; one daughter, Laura Lee Hughes (Robby) of Brodhead; his mother, Bonnie Brown of Brodhead; a sister, Vicky Litmer (Greg) of Florence; and two grandchildren, Leah Hughes and Seth Hughes, both of Brodhead. Also surviving are three brothers-in-law, Phil Reynolds (Linda) of White House, TN, David Reynolds (Debbie) of Old Hickory, TN, and Mark Reynolds (Jennifer) of Mt. Juliet, TN; four nieces; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Pretsel Brown.
