Mrs. Bronieth Childress Bullock, age 85 of Rt. 4 Mt.
Vernon, died Tuesday, June 15 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington as
the result of an automobile accident. She was born in Pulaski County on
Sep, 23, 1918 the daughter of John and Audrey Poynter Nicely. She was a
homemaker and a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Orvil Childress
(Sharlene) and Denton Childress (Ruby), both of Brodhead; four
daughters, Donna Mae Winkle (Clarence) of Lebanon, IN, Bonama Childress
of Copper Creek, Faye Denny (Harry) of Louisville, and Phyllis Spivey of
Indianapolis, IN; three brothers, Joe Nicely of Greenwood, IN, Paul
Nicely of Walnut Grove, and Junior Nicely of Mt. Vernon; and five
sisters, Roberta Price of Greenwood, IN, Dessie Broyles of Somerset, Joy
Randlolph of Indianapolis, IN, Beulah Jean Nicely of Greenwood, IN, and
Nadine Watson of Celina, TN. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren;
several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Childress; her second
husband, Raymond Bullock; two sons, Harold and Ivan; two brothers; and
one sister. |
