2-28-1993: Roberta Kirby Bullock died. Rockcastle County, Kentucky Newspaper article, "Mount Vernon Signal", obit dated 3-04-1993, excerpt follows:
Mrs. Roberta Bullock, 94, of Rt.1, Mt. Vernon, died Feb. 28, 1993 in Brodhead. She was born on July 16, 1898 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of the late Harrison and Magdalene Renner Kirby. She was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors are: a daughter, Mrs. Roberta McClure of Rt. 1 Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Ingram Kirby of Rt. 1 Brodhead, and Bill Kirby of Waynesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Cromer of Midland, Ohio, and Mrs. Bessie Watson of California; Preceded in death by her husband, Oather Bullock. Burial was in McKinney Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ralph McClure, David McClure, James Murphy, Barry Gatliff,Jesse Robbins, and Ray Petrey. |
