Ruth M. Bussell
Mrs. Ruth M. Bussell, 75, of Mason, Ohio, and formerly of Brodhead, graduated this life October 16, 2003.
She was born March 24, 1928 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of Arthur and Winnie Parrett Bryant.
Some of her special interests included activities in her church, cooking and needlework/sewing. She most recently was the director of the Deerfield Retirement Center and was a member of the Socialville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Danny Bussell (Linda) of Mason, Ohio; a daughter, Deborah Price (Wayne) of Brodhead; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Bryant; three sisters, Toy Anderson, Ayna Moore and Loretta Klass as well as a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Bussell.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 18 at the Brodhead Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Carmichael officiating with burial in the Piney Grove Cemetery at Brodhead.
Casketbearers were Jim Brummett, Jamie Gregory, Jeff Pennington, Ray Bussell, Bobby Bussell, and Jerry Bussell.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Marvin E. Owens Home for Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
