William B. Coffey


LANCASTER - William Buford Coffey, 77, of Richmond Street, Lancaster, died Friday at his home.

Born April 24, 1927, in Rockcastle County, he was the son of the late Duey and Eunice Gadd Coffey. He was retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot, a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church, an Army WWII veteran and a member of D.A.V. He was the widower of Elsie Huffman Coffey.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Coffey of Lancaster; and two brothers, Lloyd Coffey of Lexington and Edward Coffey of Millersburg.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by Walter Bowling. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Russell Sebastian, A.C. Huffman, Dorwin Greer, Jerry Ward, Donnie Coffey and Steve Himes.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday.
