Robert L. Creech
COMMISKEY, Ind. -- Robert Lee Creech, age 77, former Centerville resident, died
at his residence Monday, Jan. 26, 2004.
He was born in Jep Hill, Ky., April 21, 1926, the son of Timothy Creech and
Rebecca Mullins Creech, and lived most of his life in Centerville.
Mr. Creech was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a tool and die maker and
manufacturing engineer and had worked at Avco, Philco Ford and Square D. He was
a Wayne County Horse & Pony 4-H leader and was a member of the Diamond L. Saddle
Club.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hammons Creech, whom he married July 17,
1971; two sons, Daniel W. Creech of Brookville and Michael S. Creech of
Greenfield; two daughters, Patricia Watson of Richmond and Denise Renee Carter
of Florida; two grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Swinney of Mount Vernon, Ky.,
and Violet Begley of Richmond, Ky.
Funeral service for Robert Lee Creech will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29,
2004, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, Ind. Rev.
Martin Holman will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may
call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
