Mr. James Starling Cress, age 81 of Livingston, died Monday, June 30 at the Hazard Nursing Home in Hazard. He was born in Rockcastle County on Mar. 17, 1921 the son of Joe and Fannie Cromer Cress. He was a retired railroad worker for L&N Railroad and attended the Holiness Church. He is survived by a daughter, Marie Baker of Mt. Vernon; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Alice Cress; a daughter; a stepdaughter; and a sister. |
