Interior Journal, July 28, 1950 page 1 BRODHEAD WOMAN CLAIMED BY DEATH Mrs. Orlena Maupin Delaney of Brodhead died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pearl Elder, Junction City at 7 p.m. on July 23 age 69 years. She was a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Crab Orchard Cemetery Crab Orchard Kentucky July 25th. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Sherman Maupin of Brodhead; George Maupin of Plainfield Ind. Mrs. Emma Hopkins of Brodhead and Mrs. Pearl Elder of Junction City. Thirty five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Owens Funeral Home of Brodhead was in charge of the funeral. Submitted by Jackie Miller.
