6--07-1992: Beulah Kirby Evans died. Rockcastle County, Kentucky Newspaper article, "Mount Vernon Signal", obit dated 6-11-1992, excerpt follows:
Mrs. Beulah Evans, 75, of Walnut Grove, died Sunday June 7, 1992 in Somerset. She was born on May 2, 1917 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of the late Harrison and Maggie Renner Kirby. Survivors are: a son, Paul Evans of Somerset; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Lee of Walnut Grove: two brothers, Bill Kirby of Waynesburg, and John I. Kirby of Rt. 1, Brodhead: three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Cromer of Midland, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie Watson of Oregon, and Mrs. Bertie Bullock of Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Evans and by three children. Burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetery. |
