GRIFFIN, Mattie C.
d. 21 June 1999 MORELAND -- Mattie
Christine Griffin, 57, of Middleburg, died Monday at her home of natural causes.
Born June 18, 1942, in
Rockcastle County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Sarah Dowell
Treadway. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her
husband, Clarence Griffin; a daughter, Sharon Miller of Hustonville; two
brothers, Earl Treadway of Danville and James Treadway of Stanford; five
sisters, Inez Brown of Brodhead, Nanimae Blakey of Stanford, Irene Tate of
Lebanon, Clearice Griffin of Hustonville and Edna Lones of Stanford; three
grandchildren; and a step granddaughter. She was preceded in
death by a son, Ricky Dale Griffin. Services will be 2 p.m.
Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Revs. Larry Moore and Don Smith.
Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kenny
Miller, Kenny Griffin and Kevin Griffin, Brad Brock, Larry Lane, and Wayne
Rigsby. Honorary pallbearers are Bill, Earl and Clifton Brock, Gary King, Timmy Griffin, and Tim Ellis. |
