Mr. Bernard Hall, 87, of Brodhead died Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born on November 26, 1916 in Rockcastle County, the son of the late Herbert and Syble Bethurum Hall. He was reared in Brodhead but resided in Jefferson County much of his life, moving back after his retirement as an electrician with B. F. Goodrich Company in Louisville. He was a graduate of Brodhead High School, a member of Brodhead Baptist Church, and was an avid supporter of Christian Missions.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Judy Hall of Louisville; a very special friend, Ruby Adams of Brodhead; two granddaughters and two great grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Edwards of Falls Church, VA. He was preceded in death by his first wife, June Baker Hall and by his second wife, Mondell Bussell Hall and by two brothers, Byron Brooks Hall and Herbert Hall.
Services were held Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the Watson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Craig officiating. Burial followed in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Steineker, Jason Dishon, Todd Ralston, Alan Goatley, Edward Daugherty and Marshall McKinney. |
