Martha E. Hayes, 77, of
Mt. Vernon, died January 9th in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Hayes, a native of
Rockcastle County, was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Bradley
Price. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hayes. Survived by 8 sons
and 2 daughters; Robert and Russell of Monroe, Ohio; Ray of Brodhead; James of
Garden City, Mich., Fred, Jr. of Morrow, Ohio; Smith of Hamilton, Ohio; Lt. Col.
David Hayes of the United States Army at Aberdeen Maryland, and Leroy of
