Mrs. Ora Shepherd Howard, age 88 of Elsmere, KY and formerly of Livingston, died Wednesday, Sep. 24 at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere. She was born in Clay Co., KY on July 21, 1915 the daughter of Napoleon and Martha Robinson Shepherd. She was a homemaker and a member of the Livingston Pentecostal Church. She is survived by two sons, Paul Howard (Jane) of Springfield, KY, and Jerry Howard (Marsha) of East Bernstadt; and four daughters, Fairy Hornsby (Charles) of Taylor Mill, KY, Clara Daugherty (Eddie) of Dayton, OH, Bertha Johnson (Donnis) of Lady Lake, FL, and Burnis Howard (Sam) of Lakeside Park, KY. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Howard; a son, Denver Howard; three sisters; a brother; and four half-sisters. |
