Mr. Oscar M. Howard, 68 of Mt. Vernon died Saturday July 26, 2003 at his home. He was born on February 13, 1935 in Rockcastle County the son of the late Bradford and Dessie Bastin Howard. He was a retired drywaller and a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors are: One son; Wayne M. Howard of Covington, Ky. One daughter; Mrs. Tammy Wynn of Route #5 Mt. Vernon. Two brothers; Arlas Howard of Mt. Vernon and Earl Howard of Richmond, Ky. Two sisters; Sue Howard of Mt. Vernon, and Myrtle Smith of Independence, Ky. Two grandchildren; Geneva Wynn and Billy Gene Wynn also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Archie, Raymond, and Bob Howard and by three sisters; Marie, Opal, and Viola. | |
