Halaweis Hughes
Halaweis Hughes, 77, of Connersville, IN, died Friday, December 12, 2003 at Fayette Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 31, 1926 in Rockcastle County, the daughter of Cecil and Ethel Hamm Brown. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School, was a member of the Historic Connersville, Inc., the Blue & Gray Civil War Roundtable and was a credit manager for Montgomery Ward for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Hughes, whom she married December 19, 1952 in Connersville, IN.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 16 at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Sanders officiating. Burial followed in Dale Cemetery. |
