Mr. Bobby Lee Hurst, age 73 of Hurst Lane, Eubank, died Sunday, Mar. 14, 2004 at his home. He was born in Rockcastle County on Sep. 6, 1930 the son of John Thomas and Pearl Pitman Hurst. He was a retired construction worker and farmer and was a born-again Christian.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret McKinney Hurst; four daughters, Linda Ostermeier, Judy Fockler, and Brenda Thompson, all of Indianapolis, IN, and Kathy Dick of Somerset; five brothers, Granville Hurst of Somerset, Charles Hurst of Level Green, Lawrence Hurst and Walker Hurst, both of Indianapolis, IN, and Earl Hurst of Smyrna, TN; and one sister, Lena Hurst of Louisville. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and four sons-in-law, Steven Ostermeier, Tom Fockler, Joe Thompson, and Lindel Dick. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lewis, George, and Roy Hurst; and five sisters, Julia Ellingsworth, Pearlie Duvall, Mattie Burton, Grace Nicholson, and Mabel Taylor.
