Mr. John Douglas Isaacs, age 52, of Gum Sulphur Rd., Crab Orchard, Ky., brother of Rose Owens, passed away Friday, June 25, 2004 .

He was born February 17, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio, a son of the late John and Lucy Kate Vickers Isaacs. He had been an employee of Matushita Manufacturing of Danville, Ky and was a self employed Roofer. He was a member of the Baptist Faith. His hobby and past time was fishing.

Those left to mourn his passing include three children-Stephen Trowbridge, Rachel and Katie Isaacs all of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers-Clifton Isaacs and wife Betty of Greenville, Virginia and George William Isaacs and wife Gail of New Vienna, Ohio; Two sisters- Mildred Bechtol of San Marcos, Texas; and Rozella Owens and husband Doug of Crab Orchard; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers- Glyndon and Lenval Isaacs and a sister-Lillian Isaacs.

Visitation for Mr. Isaacs will be Tuesday, June 29th from 11A-1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, Ky; and Funeral services will begin at 1PM on Tuesday, June 29th, 2004 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chad Burdette officiating; burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Brodhead, Ky.
