Mr. William Francis "Bun" Kelley, age 87 of Livingston, died Saturday, July 5 at the Marymount Medical Center in London. He was born in Rockcastle County on March 17, 1916 the son of John C. and Winnie A. Ponder Kelley. He was a carpenter and farmer and was a member of the Livingston Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran of World War II having served with the 3rd Infantry Division in Europe and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Moore Kelley; two sons, John Kelley (Jeraldine) of Nancy, KY and Dwain Kelley (Gail) of Hamilton, OH; one daughter, Brenda Saylor of Mt. Vernon; one brother, Marion Kelley of Hamilton, OH; two sisters, Maude Mullins of Livingston and Ruth Ping of Tyler, TX; 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and five stepchildren, Bob Fields (Eddie) and Verna Houston, both of Mt. Vernon, Donald Roe (Karen) of Knoxville, TN, John G. Roe of LaFollette, TN, and Denice Gilbert of Harrogate, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Winnie Kelley; three brothers, Conley, Fred, and Oscar; four sisters, Dorothy, Lillie, Brilla, and Mae; a stepdaughter, Clara Fields; and two previous wives, Mabel Cummins Kelley and Carrie Moore Kelley. |
