WAYNE EDWARD KING, 59, of Rt. 1, Mt. Vernon, died
Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004 at his residence following an illness. He was an
Ohio native, born May, 2, 1944, son of the late William and Elsie
Russell King, Quality Control Cable Inspector for Okonite, member of the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, attended Church on the
Rock, and had been a resident of central Kentucky most of his life.
Survivors include 2 children, Chris (Tammi) King of Kingston, Tammy
(Jimmy) Short of Berea; 8 brothers and sisters, Roger King of New York,
Jim King, Dennis King, David King, Sherry King, Helen Jeffers, Linda
Hogg, all of Ohio, Sue Lynn of Virginia Beach, VA; 2 grandchildren, as
well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he
was preceded in death by one brother, Tom King.
Funeral Service 11:00 am, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004 at Reppert Funeral Home
with Pastor Mark Sarver officiating. Burial will follow in Berea
Cemetery. Visitation 6- 9 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Raymond Burdette, Ernie Hunt, Jagger Coffee, Joe
Lovins, Bufford Parkerson, Joe Stanley. |
