1-08-1996: Hester Mink Rowe Kirby died. Rockcastle County, Kentucky News Article, "Mount Vernon Signal", dated 1-11-1996, follows; Hester Rowe Kirby, 70, of Blanchester, Ohio and formerly of Rockcastle County died Monday, January 8, 1996 at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on February 24, 1925 at Luner, the daughter of the late Simmie Davis and Minta Mae Cromer Mink and was a member of the Cozadale Church of Christ. Survivors are four sons, Dalmos Rowe and Ronnie K. Rowe both of Blanchester, Ohio, Willis Rowe of Lockland, Ohio and Donnie K. Rowe of Wilmington, Ohio; two daughters, Wilma Broyles of Somerset and Janice Shiveley of Blanchester, Ohio; two brothers, Gerald and Dean Lovins, both of Somerset: one sister, Vee Doan of Blanchester, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Rowe and Earl Kirby and one brother, Joe William Mink. Services will be held Friday, January 12, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Zade McClure officiating. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Cox Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Clinton County, 61 East Main St., Wilmington, Ohio 45177. |
