William H. Kirby, 82, of Waynesburg, died July 4, 1993. He was born in Rockcastle County, May 29, 1912, the son of the late Harrison C. and Mary Magdalene Renner Kirby. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Greer Kirby; a son, William Lewis Kirby, Semi Valley, Calif.; four step-sons; Paul Collins, Frankfort, John Collins, Boca Raton, Fla., Dale Collins, Danville, and Irvin Collins, Waynesburg; three daughters, Barbara Carter, Whiteland, Ind., Janet Whitaker, Greenwood, Ind., and Sue Bennett, Somerset; two stepdaughters, Kay Hensley, Stanford, Ann Smith, Kings Mountain; a brother, Ingram Kirby, Willailla; three sisters, Beatrice Cromer, Midland, Ohio, Bessie Watson, Banning, Calif.; He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Marie Bloomer, who died in 1933, and Linda Jane Burdine, who died Sept. 22, 1963; two brothers, four sisters, and a grandson. |
