Mrs. Faye Lovell, 82, of Rt. 5 Mt. Vernon died Saturday January 10, 2004 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was born on March 24, 1921 in Pulaski County, the daughter of the late George W. and Nancy Arthur Whitaker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Survivors are: three daughters, Mrs. Gail Nicely (Paul), Mrs. Judy Miller (J.D.), and Mrs. Vicki Kindred (Jeff), all of Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Tennyson Lovell, and by three sister and three brothers.

Services were held January 13th at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Matt Pautz and Raford Herrin officiating. Burial followed in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jeff and Wayne Nicely, Jason and Eugene Martin, Scott Miller, Robert Lay and Rodney Hasty.
