4-18-1985: Rockcastle County, Kentucky News Article, "Mount Vernon Signal", obit of Frenchie Cromer Lovins:
Frenchie Lovins, age 76, of Rt. 1, Mt. Vernon died Monday, April 15, 1985, at her residence after a short illness. She was born in Rockcastle County on January 26, 1909, the daughter of the late Valencia Pittman and Joe William Cromer, and was a member of the Elrod Church of God. She is survived by three sons James Robert Lovins and Joe William Lovins, both of Rt. 1, Mt. Vernon and Oda Lovins. Jr., of Elizabethtown; three daughters, Luanna Peace and Ruby Asher both of West Chester, Ohio. and Carnelia Drew, of Hamilton, Ohio; one brother, J. R. Cromer, of Somerset; two sisters, Thelma Ping and Minta Lovins, of Somerset; 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 17th. al the Chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company with Rev. Pete Phelps officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. |
