Syble Irene Lunsford, age 80, of Brodhead, Ky. passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born August 15, 1923 a daughter of the late Johnnie and Selby Payne Lunsford. She was a member of the Brodhead Methodist Church, she operated a service station in Corbin, Ky, and the Dix Point Restaurant in Brodhead, Ky. for 24 years, as well as worked at the Mt. Vernon Signal.

Those left to mourn her passing include her son-Johnny Ray Lunsford and Belinda of Brodhead, Ky. Three grandchildren-Savannah Joe, Chelsea Chanel and Jaclyn Rae Lunsford, as well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Syble Lunsford will be Wed. Feb. 25, 2004 at 6PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead. Funeral services will be conducted Thurs. Feb. 26, 2004 at 11AM at the Marvin E. Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randal Adams officiating; burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Brodhead, Ky.
