Mrs. Cassie Burke Marshall, age 85 of Mt. Vernon, died Monday, June 16 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born in Mt. Vernon on May 2, 1918 the daughter of Elmer and Alice Perciful Burke. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Hill Holiness Church. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Castleberry (Bryan) of Climax; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marshall; a son, Arthur "Smokey" Marshall; two brothers, Robert Burke and Nathan Burke; and five sisters, Geneva Bunch, Lydia Burke, Willa Burke, Lucy Hood, and Bonnie Kash. |
