Mr. Donald Ray Mason, age 59 of New Paris, OH and formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Monday, July 7 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Mt. Vernon, KY on March 17, 1944 the son of George M. and Lillian Rader Mason. He was raise by his grandparents, Charlie and Eliza Rader following the death of his mother in 1946. He was a general laborer. He is survived by his stepmother, Gladys Mason of Orlando; eight brothers, Bobbie Mason (Norma) of Covington, KY, Ernest Mason of Livingston, Jimmy Lee Mason of Panama City, FL, and Frank Mason, George Mason (Janice), Ronnie Mason, David Mason, and Paul Mason (Kaye), all of Orlando; three sisters, Dorothy Rader (Charles), Mary Ann VanZant (Henry), and Karen Morgan (Terry), all of Orlando; and several aunts and uncles, Viola Laswell of Greenwood, SC, Sally Eversole of St. Petersburg, FL, Bessie Nail (Buddy) of Lyman, WY, Charles Rader (Wanda) of Hamilton, OH, and James Rader (Barbara) of New Paris, OH. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Coleman, Earl, Lincoln, Andy, and Bill Mason; two sisters, Sandra VanWinkle and Betty Jean Mason; and an aunt, Christine Mays. |
