Mrs. Amy Miller age 98 of Rt. #4 Mt. Vernon, died Sunday May 9, 2004 at her home after a long illness. She was born on October 29, 1905 in Hazard, Ky. the daughter of the late Frances and Angeline Engles Owens. She was a housewife, enjoyed quilting & gardening, and was a member of the Philadelphia Old Regular Baptist Church.

Survivors are: five sons; Denny Miller of Wadsworth, Oh., Paul Miller of Houston, Texas, Harve, and Hershal Miller both of Orville, Oh., and Ezekeil Miller of Mt. Vernon. Four daughters; Mrs. Malvery Looney of Orville, Oh., Mrs. Maxine Thomason of Goshen, Oh, Mrs. Faye Denniston, and Mrs. Carol Durham both of Mt. Vernon. Two sisters; Mrs. Roberta Hudson and Mrs. Irene Stacey both of Hazard, Ky. Thirty-two grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by: her husband; Newton Miller, by one son, and by one daughter.
