Mr. William Douglas Miller, age 68 of Mt. Vernon, died Wednesday, Dec. 24 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born in Brush Creek in Rockcastle County on Dec. 16, 1935 the son of Ed and Verla Ball Miller. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Brush Creek Holiness Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Marlene Thomas (Phillip) and Marilyn Miller (Eric), both of Mt. Vernon; his mother, Verla Miller of Hamilton, OH; one sister, Ruby Scott of Hamilton, OH; two grandchildren, Hannah Taylor Thomas and Haley June Bullock; a special aunt, Ardella Ball Thompson; and a special cousin, Donna Zehr.
