RICHMOND -- Richmond resident Raymon "Pappy" Miller, age 74, of Richmond, Ind.,
died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at his residence. Born May 10, 1930, in Rock
Castle County, Ky., to James and Arminda Hale Miller, he had lived in this
community for 54 years. A Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was a
retired employee of Tom Raper RVs as a mechanic. He was a member of Pentecostal
Church of Richmond. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hale Miller, to whom he
was married May 31, 1952; three sons, Randy Miller and his wife Sue of Calhoun
Ga., Carl Miller and his wife Linda of Greenville, Ohio, David Miller and his
wife Toni of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Traci, Dawson, Heather, Cary,
Chris and Sarah; four great- grandchildren; one brother, Jess Miller of
Richmond, Ind.; one sister, Lena Allen of Lynn, Ind.; several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters
and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday,
Aug. 5, 2004, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond,
Ind., with Rev. Steve Clark officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery,
Richmond, Ind. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at the funeral home.
