Robert C. Miller Sr.

Robert C. Miller, Sr., age 73, a resident of Lancaster, Kentucky, former resident of Hamilton, Ohio passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2003, at his home. Robert, the son of Thomas and Dovie Miller was born in Livingston, [Rockcastle County], Kentucky. Robert’s life revolved his family and his membership of the Maple Avenue Church of Christ. He retired from Ford Motor Company, Sharonville, Ohio.

He is survived by his family, Linda (Ron) Dorton of Dowagiac, Michigan, Charlene (Tom) Fraley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Penny (Bill) Bingham of Corbin, Kentucky, Bobbie (Tim) Bidwell of Lancaster, Kentucky, Robert C. (Dawn) Miller, Jr. of Jenison, Michigan and Regina (Jimmy) Fox of Hamilton, Ohio; grandchildren, Randy (Melissa) Dorton, Heather (Keith) Kidd, Derrick (Crystal) Dorton, Phillip Dorton, Rachel (Matt) Eddingfield, Denise (Jon) Larbes, Christina Bingham, Jon and Erica Miller and Bradley, Andrew and Dustin Fox; great-grandchildren, Keith Jr. and Anthony Kidd, Chelsea and Hannah Dorton; three brothers and six sisters; other devoted family members including numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Anna; his infant son, Lonnie; and one grandson, Kristopher Dorton.

Visitation will be held at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Avenue, Hamilton, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2003. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2003, with Rev. Frank Cleaver, Maple Avenue Church of Christ, Lancaster, Kentucky officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio.
