Everett Mize

CRAB ORCHARD - Everett Mize, 94, Harness Ridge Road, died Monday at Fort Logan Hospital.

Born Nov. 12, 1902, in Rockcastle County, he was a son of the late J.W. and Holly Ann Whitaker Mize. He was a retired farmer and member or Friendship Baptist Church. He was the widower of Etta S. Rice Mize.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Mize, Waynesburg, Noah Mize, Lewis Port and William E. Mize, Cincinnati, Ohio; three daughters, Freeba Miracle, Waynesburg, Norma French, Mt. Vernon and Janice Farris Jesse, Cincinnati; two sisters, Sybile Cummins, Gary, Ind., and Nora Gordon, Indianapolis, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Williard Mize; and two daughters, Willa Lee and Wilma Jean Mize.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church by the Rev. John Dean. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home, Stanford, and 10 a.m. Thursday at the church until time of services.
