Mr. Lee "Bug" Mullins, Jr. age 79 of Livingston, died Tuesday, July 1 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Livingston, KY on Apr. 5, 1924 the son of Lee and Cleo Stallsworth Mullins. He was a retired employee of Life of Georgia Insurance Company and, along with his wife, Lois, was owner and operator of Mullins Grocery in Livingston for over fifty years. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a member of the Livingston Christian Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #7 in Frankfort, the VFW Post #5908 of Mt. Vernon, and was a Past Master of the Dave Mason Masonic Lodge #731 of Livingston. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Ruppe Mullins; a son, John Mullins (Jennifer) of Frankfort; a brother, Paul Mullins of Mascotte, FL; and a sister, Alma Brossart of Covington. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Stuart Mullins, Bradley Mullins, and Rachel Jackson; and four great grandchildren, Cody Mullins, Brandon Mullins, Josh Mullins, and Miles Taylor. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Mullins; three brothers, Amos, Demas, and Earl Mullins; and a sister, Naomi Hart. |
