Mr. Jackie Eugene Niceley, age 66, of Route # 4, Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away Sat., May 29, 2004 at the Rockcastle Co. Hopital.

He was born on December 20, 1937, in Maretburg, Ky. , a son of the late William Henry and Agnes Christine Hunt Niceley. He was a member of the Baptist Faith. He had been a heavy equipment operator. His hobbies include guns and knives and painting scenery.

Those left to mourn his passing include his five step children-Paula Jean Bradley of Lakeland, Fla, Lawrence Martin Abrams III of Hillsboro,OH, Tiny Bell Butler of Lakeland, Fla., William Arnold Abrams of Lakeland, Fla. and Gerald Michael Abrams and wife Tina of Bartow, Fla.

Four sisters-Wanda Taylor and husband Bob of Cincinnati, Oh, Jean Cash and husband Lloyd of Maretburg, Ky; Katie Thomas and husband Travis of Nicholasville, Ky; and Brenda Saylor of Mt. Vernon, Ky. Thirteen step grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jean Lamb Niceley, and a step grandchild-Tommy Lee Abrams.
