Mr. Lovil Lee Nicely, age 77 of Rt. 1 Brodhead, died Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset. He was born in Pulaski County on Dec. 30, 1925 the son of John and Audrey Poynter Nicely. He was retired from the Stearns and Foster Company in Cincinnati and was a member of the Bandy Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Mink Nicely; three daughters, Joyce Sullivan (John) of Scottsdale, AZ, Christine Adams of Cincinnati, OH, and Debbie Dooley (Jack) of Goshen, OH; three brothers, Joe Nicely of Indianapolis, IN, Paul Nicely of Somerset, KY, and Junior Nicely of Crab Orchard, KY; and five sisters, Bronith Bullock of Brodhead, KY, Robert Price, Joy Randolph, and Jean Nicely, all of Indianapolis, IN, and Nadine Watson of Tennessee. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Greg Nicely; a brother, Jesse; and a sister, Tevis. |
