Mrs. Lucille Dowell Parsons, age 82 of Wildie, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born in Rockcastle County on May 11, 1921 the daughter of Lloyd and Lucy Dailey Dowell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wildie Christian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Tommy Parsons (Virginia), John Parsons (Jeannine), Lynn Parsons (Carla), and Mark Parsons (Patricia), all of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Linda Osborne (Jim) of Wildie; and one brother, Kenneth Dowell of Fowler, IN. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart "Sap" Parsons; a brother, Edd Dowell; and a sister, Geneva Reams.
