Mr. Tully Clinton Parsons of Brindle Ridge, died Monday, Apr. 26 in Berea. He was born in Rockcastle County on Aug. 5, 1930 the son of Clarence and Lena Smith Parsons. He was a retired Master Sergeant and Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician Supervisor for the Kentucky Air National Guard. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Berea Church of Christ. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Association. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathy Jo Parsons; two sons, Tully Parsons, Jr. (Sherry) of Louisville, and Adam Cole Parsons of Brindle Ridge; three daughters, Cathy Irene Parsons (Larry) of Milford, MI, Rebecca Ann Bullock (Randy) and Traci Nachelle Parsons, both of Brindle Ridge; one brother, Charles B. Parsons of Mt. Vernon; and two sisters, Jean Bissett and Katie Opal Zwilling, both of Louisville. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Sherri Renee Whitt (Chris), William Parsons (Deanna), and Allen Druin (Penny); and five great grandchildren, Bryan, Cierra, Jamie, Christian, and Nykalya. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 27 years, Thelma Ponder Parsons; two sisters, Patsy White and Recca McBee; and two brothers, Jack Parsons and Shelby Parsons.
