Mr. Danny F. Ping age 58, of Walnut Grove died Friday October 10, 2003 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was born on January 13, 1945 in Pulaski County the son of Mrs. Thelma Cromer Ping of Walnut Grove, and the late Dewey Ping. He was a drywall installer, a veteran of the Vietnam War, enjoyed fishing & trading, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors besides his mother are: one son; James Ping of Somerset, Ky. One daughter; Mrs. Denise Inabnitt of Somerset. Four sisters; Mrs. Carolyn Hansel of Walnut Grove, Mrs. Minta Bullock of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Shelvy Trimnell of Columbus, Ind., and Mrs. Liz Streeval of Edinburg, Ind. One grandchild; Janden Inabnitt also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Lester, and Dean Ping.
