Curtis Price

Curtis Price, age 71, of Hamilton, passed away in his residence, Saturday, September 27, 2003, at 8:25 a.m. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, on December 22, 1931 the son of Harrison and Maggie (Bowling) Price. Curtis was a veteran of the Korean Conflict with the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 and was employed as a plasterer for Local #1 for various construction companies in the area for thirty years, retiring in 1993. On September 29, 1951, in Richmond, Indiana, he was married to Dorothy Feeback.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Price of Hamilton; one daughter, Tonya and her husband Larry Garrett of Hamilton; four brothers, William Price of Little Rock, California, Harrison Jr. (Barbara) Price of Hamilton, Paul (Charlene) Price of Hamilton and Richard Price of Somerset, Kentucky; one sister, Marie (Otis) Bond of Middletown; two grandchildren, Kasey and David and two great-grandchildren, Sierra and Halli. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jim Price and one sister, Alice Price.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wendell Coning, Pastor of the Hamilton Dream Center, officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
