Beulah Laswell Rader, 91, formerly of 109 Flynn Ave., widow of John B. Rader,
died 9:25 a.m. Thursday at the Madison Nursing Home, Richmond. A native of
Rockcastle County, she was daughter of the late Bradley and Lura Cox Laswell.
She was a homemaker and member of Flat Rock Baptist Church, Orlando, Ky.
Additional survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Dola and Pat Rader,
Winchester; Denzil and Loreen Rader, Winchester; Shirley and Betty Rader,
Winchester, and Bob and Janice Rader, Renfro Valley; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Eva and Isaac Barnett, Paint Lick, and Roxie and Buddy Thomas,
Ford; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren;
six sisters, Bertha Kettler, Richmond; Geneva Craft, Richmond; Hattie Gray,
Hamilton, Ohio; Hazel Green, Lexington; Ethel Laswell, Lexington, and Bessie
Hickey, Orlando, Ky., and several stepgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Scobee Funeral home by Rev. Cova
Duvall and Rev. James Chrisman. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
