1-31-1991: Rockcastle County, Kentucky News Article, "Mount Vernon Signal," Cecil Rash died, obit dated 2-07-1991; Cecil Rash, 75, of Mt. Vernon, died Jan, 31, 1991 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born in Rockcastle County Sept 22, 1915, the son of Aden and. Myrtle Rash. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Lena Kirby Rash of Mt. Vernon, and four sons, Billy Ray Rash, Ronnie Rash, Dennis Rash and Joe Rash, all of Mt. Vernon, and a daughter, Bertha Marie Livesay of Lexington; five brothers, James Rash, Brad Rash, Millard Rash, and Junior Rash, all of Dayton, Ohio and Kenneth Rash of California; two sisters, Betty Weartz of Cincinnati and Edna Hudson of Miamisburg, Ohio, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son. Services were Feb. 3 at Dowell and Martin Funeral Home by Bro. Burgess King. Burial was in the Rash Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Troy Kirby, Ronnie Kirby, Brent Kirby, Roy Fredrick, Mike Bullock, and Junior Bullock. |
