4-18-2002: Rockcastle County, Kentucky "Mount Vernon Signal," obit; Lee Renner, 91, of Route 5, Town Branch Road, Mt. Vernon, died Monday, April 15, 2002 at Rockcastle Hospital after a long illness. He was born on December 3, 1910 in Rockcastle County, the son of the late Johnny and Katie Swinney Renner. He was retired and a member of the Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church. Survivors are a son, Orvil Renner of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren, Vickie Lynn Mullins, Glen Edward Renner and Orvil "George" Renner, all of Mt. Vernon and a great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Pease Renner; a son, Jimmy Renner and a sister, Vinnie Dailey. Services were Wednesday, April 17, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Virgil Bustle and Bro. Mike Phillips, Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donnie Mullins, Paul Dailey, Glen E. Renner, George Renner, Paul Thomason, Paul McFerron, Bentley McFerron and Clinton McFerron. |
